Endorsement
Councilor Peña is seeking re-election after a productive 1st term. In less than 2 years at City Council he voted in favor of 2 property tax cuts. He supported the 2 petitions submitted by citizens to City Council in regards to the one-way pairing of Avenue H and I. He was instrumental in upgrading water and sewer main lines which benefits the downtown and North Rosenberg area.
He supports the upcoming term-limit proposition. He is fully committed with establishing Rosenberg as a train horn quiet zone. He supports commercial and residential development, specifically in his district.
Councilor Peña's dedication and hard work is noticeable. We endorse his re-election and encourage voters of District 1 to support him.
