Elect Cynthia McConathy for Mayor of Rosenberg
Brief Bio
Mrs. McConathy is Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Rosenberg. She retired from a career in information technology that spanned a variety of business sectors including education, insurance, oil and gas, telecommunications, banking, and state agencies.
She is a graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School and Houston Community College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science. Councilor McConathy is a licensed minister, and has served on the Rosenberg Planning Commission and the City’s Sign Review Task Force. She is active in many local charities/outreach efforts and is a leader/teacher at First Assembly of God, Rosenberg.
Councilor McConathy serves on the City's Finance/Audit Committee, the Rosenberg Development Corporation (RDC), as City Council ex-officio representative to the Planning Commission, and as the City's representative to the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC).
