Endorsement
On her first term as Councilor for District 4 she has taken on challenging issues and made gutsy decisions. She has opposed the one-way pairing of Avenue H and I following the wishes of the vast majority of contituents that oppose the project. She has supported 2 property tax reductions and is commited to more reduction when possible. Supports Proposition 1 which establishes 3 term limits for city council members.
Her pro-citizen approach, lower property taxes and accountable spending principle has earned her the esteem of other council members and constituents. We endorse Councilor Barta election for At Large, Position 2. Rosenberg City Council and the citizens of the city will continue to benefit from her experience and conservative stance.
